Husband And Wife Lawn

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Same morning every week. Roman runs the mower, Kaelea takes the edges and trim — the yard is done in a single pass.

Weekly or bi-weekly visits with sharp blades and seasonal cut heights tuned for Bermuda and overseed rye. We trade off so the lawn never waits — one of us is mowing while the other is edging, then we both blow walks and patio clean before we leave. Quiet equipment, gate latch double-checked.

  • Edging & Trimming

Crisp lines along driveways, walks, and rock. Kaelea trims the obstacles a mower can’t reach.

Power-edged borders that hold the line for the full week, careful string work around block walls, citrus trees, decorative rock, and irrigation heads, plus a final blower pass so nothing carries onto the patio or gravel.

Starts at $25 · per visit

  • Flower Beds

Hand-pulled weeds, rock refresh, and pruning timed to each plant — desert and traditional beds both.

Hand-pulled weeds (no glyphosate near edibles unless you ask), seasonal pruning for sage, rosemary, oleander, lantana, and bougainvillea, and rock or mulch top-up where the bed has thinned. Kaelea handles bed work — she has the patience for it.

  • Seasonal Cleanups

The big two — monsoon debris cleanup in late summer and an overseed reset in early fall.

A full-property reset twice a year, sized to the desert calendar. Late summer: clear monsoon-blown debris, prune storm damage, refresh rock or mulch. Early fall: scalp Bermuda, overseed with rye for green winter lawn, edge beds, and prep irrigation for the cool-season schedule.

  • Plant Installation

Drought-friendly plants and shrubs installed with proper basin and drip — agave, lantana, sage, citrus.

We pick plants that survive Mesa summers without babying — agave, desert spoon, sage, lantana, bougainvillea — and set them with a watering basin, drip line tied in, and a top-dress of bark or rock. We come back at week two to confirm root contact and dial the controller.

  • Drip & Sprinkler Tune-Ups

Zone-by-zone walk with you, fix the head you keep meaning to call about, and reprogram for the season.

Seasonal drip emitter checks, sprinkler head replacements, broken-line repairs, controller programming for Mesa’s water schedule, and a walk-through with you so you know exactly what each zone is doing.

  • Hedge & Shrub Trim

Oleander, ficus, and bougainvillea kept off the block wall and shaped the way you want them.

Hand-shears for shape on smaller shrubs, power-shears on oleander and ficus runs, and a careful trim under bougainvillea that doesn’t leave you with thorns in the patio. Cuttings hauled off in the trailer — never piled on the curb.

Starts at $65 · per visit

  • One-Time Yard Cleanups

Move-in, move-out, or just been a while. We clear it, haul it, and leave you a clean slate.

We knock out neglected yards in a single visit — pull weeds, trim back overgrowth, rake out debris, refresh visible bed lines, and haul everything away. Common before listing a home or after taking over a property.

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
